NEW AUTOMOBILES TRANSFERRED TO THE COAST GUARD DEPARTMENT

Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia transferred 9 new vehicles to the Coast Guard Department of Border Police. Head of Border Police, Major-General Nikoloz Sharadze attended the handover ceremony.

The Automobiles were handed over to the crew of the ships and boats in the framework of the Project of car fleet renewal of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Raising of efficiency and creating comfortable working conditions represent the aim of the renewal of Coast Guard Department’s car fleet.

The United Kingdom (UK) Royal Navy 42 Commando Marines' instructors provided a special training course to officers of the MIA Border Police of Georgia.

14 employees of the Law Enforcement and Sea Security Tactical Divisions of the Coast Guard Department and 16 employees of the Rapid Response Main Division of the MIA Border Police have been trained in the Poti base of the Coast Guard Department of the MIA Border Police of Georgia.
