Head Of Border Police paid tribute to the Heroes killed in the August war

The Head of MIA Border Police, Nikoloz Sharadze and the Director of the Coast Guard Department, Ramaz Papidze, laid a wreath at the Memorial of Heroes killed during the Russia-Georgian War, in August 2008.

In 2008, as a result of the aggression of the Russian occupation forces, 5 Navy servicemen were killed at the Poti base.

Along with the Head of Border Police, the representatives of the local municipality of Poti, honored the memory of Fallen National Heroes. The family members of the heroes also attended the event.
