MIA Border Police continues organizing meetings to inform the population about the placement of border signs in the Border Zones and Border Lines of the State Border of Georgia.
The information meeting was held with the heads of the Local Municipality of Samtskhe-Javakheti region. The representatives of Border Police also held the meeting with the representatives of the National Tourism Administration, the Georgian Tourism Association, the Agency of Protected Areas, tour operators and guides.
In order to enter to the Border Zones, an individual and a legal entity must apply for the entry permit by submitting application form at the MIA Border Police web -page: https://bpg.gov.ge/en/page/public-relations/information-for-tourists.
From September 1, 2022, administrative fines will be imposed to the offenders for the violations of the border regime on the land border of the State Borders.
