MIA Border Police organizes informational meetings in the regions on informing about the installation signs in the Border Zones and Border Lines

The MoIA Border Police organizes meetings with the regional municipalities in regards to the installation of Border signs in the Border Zone and Border Line of the State Borders. From September 1, 2022, administrative fines will be imposed to the offenders for the violations of the border regime on the land border of the State Borders.

In this regard, the Border Police holds informational meetings with representatives of local government in the regions.

The main purpose of the meetings is to inform the population about the border signs in the Border Zone and Border Line, as well as, about the rules for approaching or staying on the territory under the border regime.

The first information meeting was held with the representatives of Lagodekhi municipality. The representatives of the Border Police provided the participants of the meeting with the comprehensive information on the border signs in the Border Zone and Border Line, as well as, the procedures for issuing permits for the movement of visitors in the territory of the border regime.

Similar information meetings will be held, throughout the country, in all the regions near the State Borders.
