The Interagency Exercise “Didgori 2021” aims to enhance coordination and improve interoperability between the governmental agencies during the war time and crises.

Up to 200 representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs participate in the framework of Exercise in the top table, as well as field components.

During the active phase of Exercise, the representatives of MIA Border Police Aviation and MIA Strategic Pipeline Protection Department acted in coordination with the Special Operation Forces of the Ministry of Defence of Georgia. Imitative General Staff observed the operation from the Command Centre.


In the framework of the Exercise, the employees of MIA Emergency Situation Service play a very important role. The Representatives of Civil Security Service and Fire-Rescue Forces Department are involved in the organizing and working processes of interagency operational center. On the Military Base, in the framework of the Exercise, 10 representatives of Emergency Situation Service, during the five days will work in the space equipped according to the NATO Standards.


The Exercise is implemented according to the order of Prime – Minister. The planning and execution processes of the Exercise are led by the Defence Forces. During the Exercise the participants should overcome hybrid threats, information influence operation of adversary and disinformation. This year, for the first time, will be used new Simulation Systems VBS 3 (Virtual battle), which gives the possibility to the training units and monitoring unit of the exercise, monitor current situation of the Exercise in the real time and describe it on the common operation picture.
