Head of MIA Border Police held Meeting with Head of NATO Liaison Office in Georgia

The Head of the MIA Border Police of Georgia, Colonel Nikoloz Sharadze held a meeting with the Head of NATO Liaison Office in Georgia, Rosaria Puglisi.

NATO Military Liaison Officer Colonel Gintaras Bagdonas attended the meeting.

During an introductory meeting, Head of the MIA Border Police briefed on the ongoing and upcoming projects in support of building up the capacity of the Georgian Coast Guard.

The sides discussed the priority directions of the NATO-Georgia practical cooperation. Particular attention was paid to the enhancement of cooperation on the Black Sea security. The sides talked about the progress made by the Border Police within its competences.
