BORDER POLICE DETAINED 2 PERSONS FOR THE FACT OF ATTEMPT OF ILLEGAL GROUP CROSSING OF THE STATE BORDER

The employees of MIA Border Police, on the area of the responsibility of the Border Sector “Sarphi” of Batumi Division detained 2 persons of the foreign countries (C.C. Born in 1996 and V.K. Born in 1996) for the fact of the attempt of illegal group crossing of the State Border.

The crime envisages the imprisonment up to 5 years.

The investigation revealed, that the accused persons, avoiding the check point, from Georgia to direction to the Republic of Türkiye, tried illegal group crossing of the State Border of Georgia.

The investigation is ongoing under the article 19 – 344, Part II, Subparagraph “A”, which implies, the attempt of illegal group crossing of the State Border.

The employees of MIA Border Police, on the area of responsibility of the Border Sectors: “Kirnati” and “Sarphi” of Batumi Division, as a result of operative – investigative measures, detained 3 persons of foreign countries (M.M. Born in 2001; A.Sh. Born in 1995 and A.T. Born in 1986) for the fact of illegal crossing and attempt of illegal crossing of the State Border.
