The employees of MIA Border Police, as a result of operative – investigative measures, on the area of the responsibility of the Border Sectors: “Kirnati” and “Sarphi” of Batumi Division, detained 3 persons of the foreign countries (M. Q. Born in 1981; H.O. Born in 1998 and E.SH. Born in 2001) for the attempt of illegal crossing and for the fact of illegal crossing of the State Border.
The crime envisages imprisonment up to 5 years.
The investigation revealed, that accused persons (M.Q. and E.Sh) hiding in the truck, implemented illegal crossing of the State Border and entered Georgia. The accused person (H.O.) avoiding the check point, from Georgia to the Republic of Türkiye tried illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia.
The investigation is ongoing under the article 19 – 344, Part I and Article 344, Part I, which implies the attempt of illegal crossing and illegal crossing of the State Border.
