BORDER POLICE DETAINED 4 PERSONS OF FOREIGN COUNTRIES FOR ILLEGAL CROSSING OF THE BORDER

The employees of MIA Border Police, as a result of operative – investigative measures, on the area of responsibility of the Border Sector “Sarphi” of Batumi Division, detained 4 persons of foreign countries (O.E. Born in 1996; H.E. Born in 1990; A.E. Born in 2001 and S.N. Born in 2002) for the illegal crossing of the State Border and for the illegal group crossing of the Border.

The crime envisages the imprisonment up to 5 years.

The investigation revealed, that the accused persons O.E. and H.E. avoiding the check- point, from the Republic of Türkiye to the direction to Georgia, illegally, hiding in the varies trucks, implemented illegal crossing of the State Border. The accused persons A.E. and S.N from the Republic of Türkiye implemented illegal group crossing of the State Border of Georgia – Türkiye.

The investigation is ongoing under the article 344, Part I, and article 344 Part II, Subparagraph “A”.

BORDER POLICE DETAINED 3 PERSONS AT THE STATE BORDER FOR THE ATTMEPT OF SMUGGLING OF MIGRANT AND FOR THE ATTEMPT OF ILLEGAL CROSSING OF THE STATE BORDER

Based on operational information received by the Border Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Border Police, the Patrol Police Department, and the Customs Department of the Revenue service, through joint operational and investigative actions, arrested I.L. (born in 1983), S.D. (born in 1983), and R.A. (born in 2001) for attempting to illegally transfer two or more migrants across the state border of Georgia and attempt of illegal group crossing of the State Border.
