BORDER POLICE DETAINED 2 CITIZENS OF FOREIGN COUNTRIES FOR THE ATTEMPT OF ILLEGAL GROUP CROSSING OF THE BORDER

The Employees of MIA Border Police, as a result of operative – investigative measures and investigative activities, on the area of responsibility of the Border Sector “Charali” of Akhaltsikhe Division, detained 2 Citizens of foreign countries (O.U. Born in 1998 and T.U. Born in 2005) for the attempt of illegal group crossing of the State Border of Georgia.

The crime envisages imprisonment up to 5 years.

The investigation revealed, that accused persons avoiding check point, from Georgia to the Republic of Turkey, tried illegal group crossing of the State Border of Georgia.

The investigation is ongoing under the article 19 – 344, Part II, Subparagraph “A” of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
