THE HEAD OF MIA BORDER POLICE MEETS WITH THE HEAD OF EUMM

Major General Nikoloz Sharadze, the Head of the MIA Border Police, hosted Ambassador Dimitrios Karabalis, the Head of the European Monitoring Mission (EUMM).

Declan Ganon, Deputy Head of the Operational Division of EUMM, and Monika Olszewska, the Liaison Officer of EUMM, were also present at the meeting.

During this introductory meeting, the parties discussed various topics, including the objectives of the Georgian Border Police, the current border situation, challenges, achievements, and the future plans of the Georgian Border Police. Additionally, the meeting underscored the significance of EUMM activities for Georgia.
