MIA BORDER POLICE DETAINED 5 PERSONS OF FOREIGN COUNTRIES FOR ILLEGAL GROUP CROSSING OF THE STATE BORDER

Border Policemen of MIA Border Police carried out operative – investigative measures, on the protected area of Border Sector “Kirnati” of Batumi Division of Georgian Border Police and detained 5 citizens of Libya (A.A Born in 1993; A.A Born in 1999; R.M. Born in 1993; A.M. Born in 2004 and A.A. Born in 1997) for the fact of illegal group crossing of the State Border.

The crime envisages imprisonment from 4 year up to 5 years.

The investigation revealed, that accused persons avoided check point and implemented illegal group crossing of Georgian State Border from the Republic of Turkey.

The investigation is ongoing under the article 344, Part II, Subparagraph “A” of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
