MOIA BORDER POLICE DETAINED 5 FOREIGN CITIZENS FOR ILLEGAL GROUP CROSSING OF THE STATE BORDER

Border Policemen of MIA Border Police carried out the operative – investigation measures, on the protected area of the Border Sector “Vale” of Akhaltsikhe Division and detained 2 citizens of Bangladesh Republic: (M. T. Born in 1996 and M.A Born in 1982), also the citizens of the Republic of Turkey (M.A. Born in 1982; E.G. Born in 1977 and F.CH Born in 1982) on the fact of illegal group crossing of State Border of Georgia.
The crime envisages imprisonment from 4 to 5 years.
The investigation revealed, that accused persons avoided Check Points of Georgia and tried illegal group crossing of Georgian State Border towards the Republic of Turkey.
The investigation is ongoing into the above –mentioned fact according to the Criminal Code of Georgia, Article 344 , Part II, Subparagraph A.
