MOIA Border Police Detained 2 Foreign Citizens for Illegal Group Crossing of the State Border.

The Border Policemen of the Ministry of Internal Affairs carried out operative-investigation measures, on the protected area of the Border Sector "Vale" of Akhaltsikhe Division and detained 2 citizens of the Republic of Turkey ( I.I born in 1983 and M.A. born in 1978) on the fact of illegal group crossing of the State Border of Georgia.
The crime envisages imprisonment from 4 to 5 years.
The investigation revealed, that accused persons avoided Check Points and from the Republic of Turkey tried illegal group crossing of Georgian State Border.
The investigation is ongoing into above - mentioned fact according to the Criminial Code of Georgia, Article 344, Part II, Subparagraph A, which means illegal group crossing of the State Border.
