MOIA BORDER POLICE DETAINED 2 FOREIGN CITIZENS

Georgian Border Policemen, on the protected area of the Border Sector ,,Sarpi” of Batumi Division, detained 2 citizens of Uzbekistan, on the fact of illegal group crossing of the State Border of Georgia.

The crime envisages imprisonment from 4 to 5 years.

The investigation revealed, that accused persons avoided Check Points of Georgia and tried illegal group crossing of Georgian State Border towards the Republic of Turkey.

The investigation is ongoing into the above-mentioned fact according to the Criminal Code of Georgia, Article 344, Part II, Subparagraph A.
