Temur Kekelidze hosted the Chief of the State Border Guard of the Republic of Latvia

Chief Border Guard of the Republic of Latvia, General Guntis Pujāts along with the delegation visited the MIA Border Police of Georgia. The guests were hosted by Mr. Temur Kekelidze.

During the meeting, the sides have discussed future cooperation development between the Georgian and Latvian Border Agencies.   Mr. Kekelidze spoke about the top priorities for the Border Police, as well as ongoing projects.

The delegation visited Border Police N3 Tsiteli Khidi, the Border Sector “Kasumlo” and the K9 Division. They got familiarized with the working specifics and conditions of border guards and dog handlers on spot.

While in Georgia the Latvian Border Guards also visited the Patrol police and Migration Departments under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.
