Mr. Kekelidze attended the official reception held on the USS ROSS

The Head of the MIA Border Police of Georgia, Mr. Temur Kekelidze attended the official reception held on the USS ROSS.
The Prime Minister of Georgia Mr. Mamuka Bakhtadze, delivered the opening speech, followed by the US chargé d’affaires Ross Wilson and Commander of the vessel, Captain David Coles. The representatives of the Government of Georgia, the Coast Guard Department of the MIA Border Police of Georgia, the US Embassy to Georgia and other distinguished guests attended the reception.
Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer "USS ROSS" (DDG-71) entered Georgia's territorial waters on April 21. While in Georgia, official meetings were held between Georgian Coast Guard representatives and the American crew members. Joint Naval Exercises are planned along the coast guard patrol boats “Dioskuria" and "Ochamchire". USS Ross will leave the Georgian territorial sea on April 25.
