MoIA Border Police of Georgia have been equipped with the modern detection equipment

Informational Technology Systems and Towers maintenance equipment have been donated to MoIA Border Police of Georgia under the IOM’s current EU-funded “Sustaining Border Management and Migration Governance in Georgia (SBMMG) project”.
The Upgrade of the equipment have been accomplished in close cooperation with the International Relations Department of the MoIA under the IOM’s current EU-funded “Sustaining Border Management and Migration Governance in Georgia (SBMMG) project”.
In the framework of the same project, Towers Maintenance and Safety Training was provided for the Representatives from the IT Division of the Border Police of Georgia of MoIA
Mr. Temur Kekelidze, Head of the Border Police have been introduced to the functionality and technical specifications of the newly handed over equipment, he expressed his gratitude to Sanja Celebic Lukovac, the Chief of IOM Georgia Mission, and Marc Hulst, Project Manager at IOM Georgia Mission for their contribution in developing the Georgian Border Police Capabilities. Temur Kupatadze, the Deputy head of the MoIA Border Police and Ekaterine Matchavariani, Director of the International Relations department of MoIA participated at the Equipment Donation Ceremony.
At the MoIA Border Police of Georgia, various EU-funded projects are implemented by IOM in order to develop Border Management approaches and improve Border Security.
