Border Guard trained in Risk Analysis at the State Border

“Risk Analysis” Training has been concluded at the MIA Border Police. Mr. Temur Kekelidze, Head of the Border Agency awarded the attendees with the certificates.

Training course “Risk Analysis at the Border Police” was initiated and delivered by the Analytical Division for the border policemen from the Land Border Defence Department and the Operative-Investigation Main Office.

The attendees were trained in methodology of risk analysis, as well as its relevance and significance in day-to-day activates at the State border. After the theoretical part, the border guards were instructed to analyze provided information, identify risks and elaborate joint approaches.

In order to develop the analytical activities within the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the common risk analysis system has being integrated at the State Border of Georgia at both - the strategic and the operational-tactical levels. It should be outlined that the system is fully compliant with the risk analysis model of the European Border and Coast Guard Agency (Frontex).
