BORDER POLICE DETAINED 2 PERSONS FOR THE FACT OF ILLEGAL GROUP CROSSING OF THE STATE BORDER

The employees of Operative – investigative Department of MIA Border Police detained 2 citizens of the foreign countries for illegal, group crossing of the State Border.

As a result of the operative measures and investigative actions, carried out by the Border Police Officers, it was determined, that the detainees, on the area of the responsibility of the Border Sector “Charali” of Akhaltsikhe Division, avoiding the check point, implemented illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia – Türkiye. The Law enforcement officers arrested both persons.

The investigation is ongoing under the Article 344, Part II, which implies 5 years of the imprisonment.
