The employees of the Operative - investigative Department detained 4 citizens of the foreign countries for the fact of the illegal crossing of the State Border.
As a result of the operative measures and investigative actions carried out by the Border Police Officers, it was derermined, that on the area of the resonsibility of the Border Sectors: " Sarphi" and "Gorgodzeti" of Batumi Division of the Border Police, 2 detainees avoiding the check point, were detained during the illegal crossing of the State Border from the Republic of Turkey. 2 detainess implemented illegal crossing of the State Border through hiding in the truck.
The investigation is ongoing under the Article 344, Part I, which implies 5 years of the imprisonment.
Immigration procedures are in the process of the implementation against 2 detainess, as a result of which, they will be expelled from the country.
