The employees of the Operative – investigative Department detained 2 citizens of the foreign countries for the fact of the attempt of illegal crossing of the State Border.
As a result of operational measures and investigative actions carried out by the Border Police Officers, it was determined, that the detainees, on the area of the responsibility of the Border Sector: “Sarphi” of Batumi Division of the Border Police, avoiding the check point, on foot, tried illegal crossing to the direction to the Republic of Türkiye. The investigation is ongoing under the Article 344, which implies 5 years of the imprisonment.
