A video material was spread on the various social media pages, showing a person riding a hydrocycle on the “Ureki” Coast, posing a threat to the citizens in the sea.
A Mobile Training Team from the United States Coast Guard conducted an Incident Management Course at the Joint Maritime Operations Centre (JMOC) of the Georgian Border Police.
The program included both theoretical and practical training. In the framework of the course, participants shared international experience and best practices. Special attention was paid to strengthening interagency cooperation, improving coordination, and developing effective response skills.
Along with Border Police officers, representatives of the Patrol Police, the Ministry of Defence, the Maritime Transport Agency and the Customs Department of the Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance participated in the training course.
After completing the course, the participants were awarded the relevant certificates.
