The Head of the Border Police of Georgia, Major General Davit Tamazashvili held a farewell meeting with the Military Attaché of the Helenic Republic, Brigadier General Stefanos Lykopoulos.
Davit Tamazashvili expressed the gratitude towards the Military Attaché of the Helenic Republic, for his significant contribution in the processes of deepening cooperation between the two countries. Head of Georgian Border Police, particularly, emphasized the ongoing cooperation in the field of retraining of Border Police Personnel and supporting the participation of the Coast Guard Department in the NATO Maritime Security Operation “Sea Guardian”.
During the meeting, the parties positively assessed the close and fruitful cooperation between the Georgian Border Police and the relevant agencies of the Hellenic Republic.
The meeting was also attended by the Head of the Georgian Border Police Administration, Tatia Sulakvelidze, Deputy Head of the Administration Tamta Danelia, and Head of the International Relations Division Ramaz Papidze.
