The Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Sulkhan Tamazashvili visited, in Batumi, the Structural Units of the Border Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, within the framework of his visit to the Autonomous Republic of Adjara.
The Minister was hosted by the Head of the Border Police, Davit Tamazashvili and other senior officials of the Border Police, at the Batumi Subdivision of the Coast Guard Department and Batumi Division of the Land Border Protection Department of the Border Police.
Within the framework of the visit, the Head of the Border Police, briefed the Minister on the current situation on the Border. Davit Tamazashvili provided comprehensive information on the readiness of the Coast Guard Department regarding the opening of the tourist season. The Head of the Border Police, also, showed the Minister special equipment.
