BORDER POLICE DETAINED 4 PERSONS FOR ILLEGAL CROSSING AND FOR THE ATTEMPT OF ILLEGAL CROSSING OF THE BORDER

The employees of Operative – investigative Department of MIA Border Police detained 4 persons for illegal crossing and for the attempt of illegal crossing of the State Border.

As a result of the operative – investigative measures, conducted by the Law Enforcement Officers, it was determined, that 2 accused persons illegally crossed the State Border of Georgia, avoiding the check point. Also 2 accused persons were tried to implement illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia – Türkiye.

The investigation is ongoing under the article 344, Part I and 19 – 344 Article, Part I, which implies five years of the imprisonment.
