BORDER POLICE DETAINED 2 PERSONS FOR ILLEGAL CROSSING OF THE BORDER

The employees of Operative – investigative Department of MIA Border Police detained 2 persons for illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia. As a result of operative – investigative measures, carried out by the Law Enforcement Officers, it was recognized that the detained persons illegally crossed the State Border of Georgia – Türkiye and entered Georgia by bypassing the Border Checkpoint, hiding in a trailer, and also on foot.

The investigation is ongoing under the Article 344, Part I, which implies 5 years of the imprisonment.
