BORDER POLICE DETAINED 5 PERSONS FOR ILLEGAL GROUP CROSSING AND FOR THE ATTEMPT OF ILLEGAL CROSSING OF THE STATE BORDER

The employees of Operative – investigative Department of MIA Border Police detained 5 persons for illegal, group crossing and for the attempt of illegal, group crossing of the State Border.

As a result of operative – investigative measures, conducted by the law enforcement officers, the investigation revealed, that the accused persons avoiding the check point, tried to implement illegal crossing of the State Border and also, several of them implemented illegal, group crossing of the State Border of Georgia – Türkiye.

The investigation is ongoing under the article 344, Part II, Subparagraph “A” and 19 – 344 Article, Part II, Subparagraph “A”, which implies five years of the imprisonment.

First Deputy Head of the Border Police, Levan Kharabadze, held a working meeting at the Border Division “Lagodekhi” of the Border Police of Georgia, together with the leadership of the Land Border Protection Department.
