The employees of Operative – investigative Department with the employees of the Police Department and the Customs check point “Sarphi”, detained 3 persons for the attempt of illegal group crossing of the State Border and for the attempt of migrants’ smuggling.
The investigation revealed, that the citizen of the foreign country (A.A. Born in 1963), through a hiding device in a truck he was driving, attempted illegally transport (I.O. Born in 1978 and M.D. Born in 2000) from Georgia to the Republic of Türkiye.
The investigation is ongoing under the article 19 – 344, Part II, Subparagraph “A” and the article 19 – 344, Part II, Subparagraph “B”, which implies 8 years of the imprisonment.
