The employees of Operative – investigative Department of MIA Border Police, as a result of operative – investigative measures, detained 4 persons (H.Q. Born in 1979; A.C. Born in 1984; A.T. Born in 1999 and A.E. Born in 1976) for illegal crossing of the State Border.
The investigation revealed, that at the different times, the accused persons (H.Q; A.C; and A.E) avoiding the check point, hiding in the truck, implemented illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia – Türkiye. Also, accused person A.T. implemented illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia – Armenia and entered Georgia.
The accused person (H.K) was subjected to immigration procedures and was deported from the country, while the accussed persons (A.S; A.T; and A.E.) are being investigated under the Article 344, Part I, of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which implies the imprisonment up to 5 years.
