BORDER POLICE DETAINED 4 PERSONS FOR ILLEGAL CROSSING OF THE BORDER
The employees of Operative – investigative Department of MIA Border Police detained 4 persons for illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia.
The employees of MIA Border Police, in Batumi, detained 2 citizens of the foreign countries (B.T. Born in 1993 and G.I. Born in 2000) for the fact of illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia.
The investigation revealed, that the accused person (B.T) hiding in the truck and the accused person (G.I.) avoiding the check point, from the Republic of Türkiye implemented illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia and entered Georgia.
It was, also, revealed that the accused persons (B.T. and G. I) were internationally wanted by Turkish Law Enforcement Agencies under a red circular.
The investigation is underway under the Article 344, Part I of the Criminal Code of Georgia, and extradition procedures provided by law are being carried out against the detainees.
