The employees of the Border Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, on the area of the responsibility of the Border Sector “Sarphi” of Batumi Division, detained 5 persons (A.H. Born in 2001; M.U. Born in 2003; A.J. Born in 2006; I. Born in 2006 and I.M. Born in 2004).
The investigation revealed, that the accused persons, avoiding the check point, from Georgia to direction to the Republic of Türkiye, tried illegal, group crossing of the State Border.
The investigation is ongoing under the article 19 – 344, Part II, Subparagraph “A” of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which implies 5 years of the imprisonment.
