The employees of MIA Border Police, on the area of the responsibility of the Border Sectors: “Charali” and “Vale” of Akhaltsikhe Division, detained 3 persons (B.TS. Born in 1975; G.M. Born in 1997 and I.D. Born in 1995) for illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia and for the fact of the attempt of illegal crossing of the Border.
The investigation revealed, that the accused persons (B.TS. and G.M.) avoiding the check point, from the Republic of Türkiye implemented illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia and entered Georgia. The accused person (I.D.) avoiding the check point, from Georgia to direction to the Republic of Türkiye tried illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia.
The investigation is ongoing under the article 344, Part I and article 19 – 344, Part I, which implies 5 years of the imprisonment.
