The employees of MIA Border Police, as a result of operative – investigative measures on the area of the responsibility of the Border Sector “Matsimi” of Lagodekhi Division detained R.L (Born in 1986) for the attempt of illegal crossing of the State Border and for the fact of assaulting the Police Officer.
The investigation revealed that the accused person, while attempting to illegally cross the State Border, disobeyed the lawful request of the Border Police Officers, resisted them, attacked one of the Officers, and inflicted bodily harm.
The investigation is ongoing under the article 19, 344, Part I and 3531 Part I, which implies the imprisonment from 4 years up to 7 years.
