The employees of MIA Border Police, in Batumi, detained the citizen of the foreign country (A.O. Born in 1992) for the fact of illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia.
The investigation revealed, that A.O. avoiding the check point, from the Republic of Türkiye to the direction to Georgia, implemented illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia. Also, it was revealed, that A.O. (Born in 1993) was wanted internationally by Turkish law enforcement agencies under a red circular for the particularly serious crime of manufacturing and distributing narcotics.
The investigation is ongoing under the article 344, Part I and extradition procedures provided by law are being carried out against the detainee.
