HEAD OF THE BORDER POLICE DAVIT TAMAZASHVILI HELD AN INTRODUCTORY MEETING WITH THE REPRESENTATIVES OF THE MINISTRY OF INTERNAL AFAIRS OF THE REPUBLIC OF TÜRKEY

The Head of the Border Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Davit Tamazashvili, met with the Advisor on Internal Affairs Issues of the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye, Necmettin Tetik, and the Advisor on Security Affairs Issues, Hakan Becel.

The parties discussed the current and future cooperation issues between the agencies. The importance of the cooperation between the Turkish Navy Command and Georgian Coast Guard, mutual support and assistance on the Land Border Protection Issues, were highlighted during the meeting.

The parties expressed readiness that the successful relations and cooperation between the agencies of the two countries will further deepen in the future.
