BORDER POLICE DETAINED ONE PERSON WANTED BY INTERPOL RED NOTICE

The employees of MIA Border Police detained the citizen of the Republic of Türkiye, in Batumi, (B.I. Born in 2000) who was internationally wanted by Turkish law enforcement agencies for fraud under a red circular.

The detainee (B.I.) officially entered on the territory of Georgia before an international search was launched for him.

Extradition procedures are underway for the detainee, as provided for by law.
