BORDER POLICE DETAINED ONE PERSON WANTED BY INTERPOL RED NOTICE

As a result of operational – search activities, in “Bakuriani” settlement, the employees of MIA Border Police with the employees of Samtkhe – Javakheti Police Department, detained one person (O.I; Born in 1982) a citizen of the Republic of Türkiye, who was internationally wanted by Turkish law enforcement agencies under a red circular, for committing a particularly serious crime, the intentional murder of three persons and the attempted intentional murder of two persons.

Extradition procedures are underway against the detainee, as provided for by law.
