BORDER POLICE DETAINED 2 PERSONS FOR ILLEGAL CROSSING OF THE STATE BORDER

The employees of Operative – Investigative Main Division of MIA Border Police, as a result of operative – investigative measures, detained 2 citizens of foreign countries (E.D. Born in 2000 and A.P. Born in 1957) for the fact of illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia.

The investigation revealed, that the accused person (E.D), avoiding the check point and the accused person (A.P) hiding in the truck, from the Republic of Türkiye, to the direction to Georgia, implemented illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia.

The investigation is ongoing under the article 344, Part I, which implies 5 years of imprisonment.
