The Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Geka Geladze, held a working meeting with the leadership of the Border Police.
During the meeting, ongoing and planned projects aimed at improving border infrastructure, constructing and equipping border sectors, retraining border guards, strengthening the operational and investigative component, and developing the capabilities of the Coast Guard and border aviation were discussed.
At the meeting, Minister Geka Geladze received information on existing projects implemented within the framework of international cooperation, which are aimed at strengthening border protection as well as developing the capabilities of Border Guards and the Border Police.
The Minister of Internal Affairs expressed gratitude to the leadership of the Border Police.
