BORDER POLICE DETAINED 2 PERSONS FOR THE FACT OF THE ATTEMPT OF ILLEGAL GROUP CROSSING OF THE STATE BORDER

The employees of MIA Border Police, on the area of the responsibility of the Border Sector “Gorgadzeti” of Batumi Division detained 2 citizens of foreign countries (N.A. Born in 1991) and (P. E. Born in 1970) for the fact of the attempt of illegal, group crossing of the State Border.

The investigation revealed, that the accused persons, avoiding the check point, from Georgia to the direction to the Republic of Türkiye tried illegal, group crossing of the State Border of Georgia.

The investigation is ongoing under the article 19 – 344, Part II, Subparagraph “A”, which implies 5 years of imprisonment.

The employees of Operative – investigative Department of MIA Border Police detained 1 person for the fact of illegal crossing of the State Border and for illegal purchase/possession of large quantities of narcotic drugs.
