20 employees of the Land Border Protection Department of the Border Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs completed the “Special Professional Educational Program for Basic Training of Border Guards of the Land Border Protection Department”. The course was held at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The 5-week training covered such issues as: security and risk analysis, firearms training, first aid, topography, as well as operational-investigative and other important components related to legal and State Border Protection.

The Director of the Land Border Protection Department, Colonel Otar Arshinashvili, congratulated the Border Guards on the completion of the program:
“On behalf of the Border Police, I congratulate the Border Guards on the completion of the basic training special professional educational program. By participating in this course, you have taken an important step in the professional arena, moved forward, and most importantly, you have been assigned the mission of a Border Guard. Within the framework of the course, you have acquired the skills necessary for a Border Guard, received the knowledge, education, and information that you will need while working in the Border Police. Working in the Border Police is truly a matter of pride and appreciation. It is the duty of each of us to sincerely and nobly serve the goals and objectives of the Border Police.”

The Director of the Land Border Protection Department of the Border Police, Colonel Otar Arshinashvili, and the Vice-Rector of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Police Vice-Colonel Giorgi Osadze, presented the graduates with the relevant certificates.

Similar trainings are systematically conducted for employees of the Border Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and are aimed at effectively performing their professional activities.
