BORDER POLICE DETAINED 2 CITIZENS OF FOREIGN COUNTRIES FOR THE ATTEMPT OF ILLEGAL CROSSING OF BORDER

The employees of MIA Border Police, on the area of the responsibility of the Border Sector “Irmistchala” of Akhaltsikhe Division, detained 2 persons of the foreign countries (E.B. Born in 2001 and M.Sh. Born in 2000) for the fact of the attempt of illegal, group crossing.

The investigation revealed, that the accused persons avoiding the check point, from Georgia to the direction to the Republic of Türkiye tried illegal, group crossing of the State Border of Georgia.

The investigation is ongoing under the article 19 – 344, Part II, Subparagraph “A”, which implies 5 years of imprisonment.
