The employees of Border Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, on the area of the responsibility of the Border Sectors: “Guguti”, “Sadakhlo” and “Vale” detained 3 persons of the foreign countries (A.V. Born in 1992; H.S. Born in 1997 and Q.O. Born in 1977) also, 2 citizens of Georgia (M.K. Born in 1976 and K.L. Born in 1993) for the illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia and for the fact of the attempt of illegal group crossing of the State Border of Georgia.

The crime envisages the imprisonment up to 5 years.

The investigation revealed, that the accused persons (A.V. and H.S.) tried illegally group crossing of Georgia – Armenian State Border. The accused person (Q.O.) implemented illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia and entered Georgia from the Republic of Armenia. The accused persons (M.K. and K.L.) avoiding the check point, implemented illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia from the Republic of Türkiye.

The investigation is ongoing under the article 19 – 344, Part II and article 344 Part I, which implies the attempt of illegal group crossing of the State Border of Georgia and illegal crossing of the State Border.
