BORDER POLICE DETAINED 3 PERSONS FOR THE FACT OF ILLEGAL CROSSING OF THE STATE BORDER

Based on operational information received by the Main Operational-Investigative Division of the Border Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Border, the employees of Border Police, as a result of operational-investigative actions, detained 3 foreign citizens (C.T. Born in 2003; I.O. Born in 1996 and U.A. Born in 2000) for the fact of illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia.

The crime envisages imprisonment up to 5 years.

The investigation revealed, that the accused persons avoiding the check point, from the Republic of Türkiye to the direction to Georgia, hiding in the truck, implemented illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia.

The investigation is ongoing under the article 344, Part I, which implies illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia.

The employees of MIA Border Police on the area of the responsibility of the Border Sector “Kartsakhi” of Akhaltiskhe Division detained 2 citizens of foreign country (A.K. Born in 1996 and D.A. Born in 1983) in accordance with the article 19 – 344, Part II.
