Mr. Kekelidze attended the official reception held on the NATO ship

The Head of the MIA Border Police of Georgia, Mr. Temur Kekelidze attended the official reception held on the flagship of the Standing NATO Mine Countermeasures Group 2 (SNMCMG2).
Alongside Mr. Kekelidze, the reception was in attendance of the Head of the Special State Protection Service of Georgia Anzor Chubinidze, Deputy Minister of Defense David Sujashvili, Ambassador of Poland to Georgia Mariusz Maskiewicz, the Coast Guard Department of the MIA Border Police.
Temur Kekelidze delivered the speech and spoke about the successful cooperation between Georgian Coast Guard and NATO Naval Forces and thanked CAPT. Alessandro Falcone for a fruitful visit.
Standing NATO Mine Countermeasures Group 2 (SNMCMG2) which includes the Italian ITS VESUVIO and Turkish TCG AMASRA, entered the Georgian territorial waters on Octomber 25. While in Georgia, official meetings were held between Georgian Coast Guard representatives and the SNCMG2. Joint Naval Exercises are planned with the participation of the GEOCG vessels “Dioskuria" and "Ochamchire".
