Mr. Kekeklidze onboard of USS Donald Cook

The Head of the MIA Border Police of Georgia Temur Kekelidze joined the members of the Government to visit the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Donald Cook DDG 75. The CDA Ambassador Ross Wilson and CDR Matthew Powel, commanding officer of the USS Donald Cook hosted Mr. Kekelidze and Mr. Levan Izoria, the Minister of Defense of Georgia and held a ship-tour for them.

The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Donald Cook DDG 75 made a port visit in Batumi on January 21. While in Georgia, a meeting was held between the American sailors and the Georgian coast guardmen. The ship will conduct joint maritime drills with the Coast Guard Patrol Boats “Ochamchire” and “Dioskuria”.
USS Donald Cook will leave the Georgian territorial sea on January 25.
