Ambassador of Latvia to Georgia visited the K9 Division of the MIA Border Police of Georgia

The project “Strangthening the Capacity of the K9 Units” has been concluded at the K9 Division of the MIA Border Police of Georgia. The event was attended by the Ambassador of Latvia to Georgia Ingrida Lavrence, , Chief of the Dog handling Service of the Collage of the State Border Guard Service of Latvia Colonel Uldis Barkans and Deputy Heads of the MIA Border Police Vice Colonel Kakhaber Chikovani and Colonel Levan Chabukiani.

The project has been carried out with the assistance from the Collage of the State Border Guard Service of Latvia. Deputy Heads of the MIA Border Police expressed his gratitude to the Latvian ollegues for their contribution and talked over future joint projects.

Within the Project, the Service dogs and its cages were handed over to the K9 Division of the MIA Border Police of Georgia and dog-handlers underwent special training program.
